Portfolio

My work develops through a process of disassembling manipulation and reconstructing different materials.

The narrative is created by experimenting techniques and different mediums, building textures and layers. Often combined with my photos, paintings and drawings.

I try to challenge myself to see beyond the distraction to capture the unique itself.

Accidental plot or naturally occuring stain can be a starting point for your art.

Accident is the starting point on the paper. Thin layers of mixed medium gives it organic shape

which is controlled or made with another accident. You add the drawing and you let your hand play

across the paper in relaxed manner. What is left is up to your imagination.

Installation

I was looking into how to generate a sculpture from recycled plastic. I found that using a heatgun to manipulate and form the plastic material around glass bottles was the best method. It is a theme connected to plastic waste and throw-away society, but it is also about form and fragility.

Exploring the paper

Materials, texture and layers is my concern through most of my work. The paper is the medium and by adding and stripping off layers of diffrent materials I change and form the language of the narrative.
